  The section on the left lists some of the diverse origins of data that feed into Data Fabric Studio. These data sources include:

  • IBP Applications (Integrated Business Planning tools)
  • Suppliers (third-party vendors and manufacturers)
  • Enterprise Systems (enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management systems)
  • WMS/TMS (Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems)
  • IoT Devices (sensors, smart trackers, connected devices)
  • Sustainability Scope 1, 2, & 3 (environmental impact tracking data)
  • SNEW Data (Sustainability, News, Events, and Weather data)

  
  These sources contribute to a unified and normalized data ecosystem that can be used across multiple applications. The core processing engine of Data Fabric Studio is represented in the middle portion of the diagram, handling data ingestion, governance, transformation, and persistence. This processing is broken into four key stages:

  • Connect (ingestion, cataloging, transformation, discovery)
  • Control (governance, workflow management, permissions, validation, promotion of changes)
